I know if you go to Schuck's Auto Supply ( do they have those in CA?) they
keep battery acid behind the counter and will fill your battery if you bring
it in. I would think that there are other parts stores out there that would
carry this stuff too. I think it's just sulphuric acid but I don't know what
the concentration is or if there are any other chemicals involved.
