There are numerous differences.
    Even the master cylinder, while similar in appearance, can not be
switched without compromising the brake system, or causing bad grabbing. I
believe the rears are different widths, and the engines are of different
series(10-15hp?).The frame is heavier in a 1008. I have used a radiator from
the 1008 in a blazer and do not remember it being difficult to put in.
