Fellow listers!!!!
Finally the sound and smell of a running 6.2L diesel engine fills the air
of my garage!!!!! After draining the batteries(a few times), bypassing the
glow plug controller, purging the fuel filter, fuel pump, injectors etc the
darn thing came to life, the only casualty was the starter, the poor devil
died on me but not after accomplishing its mission. After dissasembly found
out the armature was shorted so off to the local starter shop I go. To all
of you who helped me KUDOS!!!!
