Picked up two U.S. gas cans this weekend at a farm auction.
One still OD, looks almost NOS, had "HQ-9" painted on one
side, "10-53" date on the bottom.
The other is OD, but the top quarter had been painted red,
and was dated "2-53." Great shape also. No rust or dents
in either.
How much are they going for, so I know whether I got a
great deal or bent over? ;-)
