Hi David and Rick;

If there is evidence of rust pitting after sand blasting can the rim be
saved by stitch welding the flats to the rim? Or does the presence of rust
between the flats and the rim cause the welds to be inherently weak due to
oxides from the rust? I have heard only some brief comments and they are
contradictory. Any opinions and advice are welcomed. | 8^)

Tnx,
