Forgive me if this has already been discussed, but I get the digest.

I don't know how I feel about this. Presumably these Military Vehicles will
spend the rest of their days under good care, but there are no guarantees.
The could end up going to the recyclers. They are obviously not restorable.
At least they are not being DeMilled. But it troubles me that our nation
does not think enough of this class of vehicle to preserve them as long as
possible, even if they are unfit for continued use. What does this say to
the soldiers who cared for them? One would think that the Government of the
United States could afford to keep let them retire with dignity.
