Regarding Gene's advice to add a pint of Prolong to the M35 engine. I
came across a excellent article on the use of oil additives most of
which contain PTFE/Teflon. The conclusion of the article is if you value
your vehicle don't pour these products into the crankcase. Dupont
invented the original PTFE formula and did exhaustive testing of it and
came to the conclusion it did not work. They were then Sued by Slick 50
because the PTFE is the main ingredient in Slick 50, without it being
manufactured they would go out of business.
I can Email the complete article to anyone interested.
