I know the government converted the original M274 to the M274A3 and the
M274A1 to an M274A4, but does any one know how many were actually converted
and what the guidelines for conversion were?
I mean, if it was a good running M274, did they still convert it to an
M274A3, or did they use M274's which had harder lives? Or, did they just say
they needed to convert X number and did which ever ones they got their hands
on first?
Did the same rules apply to the M274A1 --> M274A4 conversion?
