We are having a show this week end in Kingsport, TN. It starts today and
runs through Saturday night, our club "Tired-Iron" will be set up with the
M114, several jeeps, trucks and Deuces. The Air National Guard has many
vehicles and a few choppers there. The 278th CAV will have several vehicles
also, this is part of our Fun Fest celebration. Lots of fun, food, and
concerts.

Subject: [MV] Any MV shows or rallys near South Carolina?
I know about the Memphis rally next weekend. Is there anything else this
summer closer to South Carolina. My wife wants to take a weekend trip and I
want to see some armour. Would like to do both at the same time. I would
really like to see a Sherman tank up close. They have some at Ft. Jackson,
but the guy with the M16 makes me nervous. Any tips would be appreciated.
Maybe we will make the trip to Tennessee (that's a long drive).
For what it's worth we have a really great show here in SC the first week of
November each year. Lots of planes (I flew on a B-17 last year) and quite a
few vehicles. Nothing with tracks (except the Abrams). I just gotta touch
a Sherman! A halftrack will get me by.
