M35 air line

In my deuce I have an airline connector located at the passenger
bulkhead. I believe this was designed to be connected to a 25' air line,
military issue. However, rather than use the military hose and
connector, which must be screwed on, I found that a quick disconnect can
be left on the bulkhead fitting, and a commercial 50' hose ($10 at Home
Depot) is much easier to maneuver around the truck.
I carry a 3/4" impact gun and sockets. It only took one experience where
my friend got a flat on the front wheel of his five ton, and we couldn't
break the lugs loose, even with a 6 foot breaker bar. It was two hundred
bucks for road service to change the tire. The air pressure is more than
adequate to work the gun to break loose a couple of nuts at a time. It
can also work an air powered bottle jack.
