FEMA has been preaching that for years.....back in the New Madrid Fault
scare...I.E Iben Browning, scare days...we were told that it would take a
minimum of 72 or more hours for a Federal response.

That all civies had to do for themselves, shelter, food, water......that
even the emergency services would be helpless...and that was the way it
would be.

We could gop out and pass out bandaids...but would not have the time to
apply them.....
