Thats exactly the issue. Some states allow Farmers to drive large
trucks with a class of license that is a Non CDL version of what long
haul truckers drive with. Be it Class A (trailer of 10K+ GVW) or
Class B (26K+ GVW).

Georgia also allows short distance runs with things like timber and
other materials without a CDL.

As far as the Federal Regs go, if its not crossing state lines and
isn't commerce, it's not their business to regulate it. There's that
Commerce Clause again. (The more I realize the Dems and the Repubs
are two sides of the same coin, the more I believe in the Commerce
Clause and how little it's invoked).

Yep. But if you drive there from another state with your, say,
Georgia Non CDL, Class B with an M54, they have to recognize the
license based on the full faith and Credit Clause.
