I resemble that remark.
I have driven literally hundreds of deuces and they all took a few seconds
for oil pressure to build, unless they had been shut off in the last couple
of minutes.
If you are still concerned, buy yourself a pre-oiler. Then you can build the
pressure before cranking the motor.
