Folks -
I thank all those who provided me with great information on what I
could expect with my towing adventure.
We were able to go much faster than I expected; between 35-40 most of
the way, except for one particularly nasty hill coming out of Ionia,
Michigan. We were in 2nd gear, going 10mph, belching tons of black
smoke, but we made it. The Ford tracked great and offered no surprises.
I was really impressed with the towing ability of my deuce, and now am
not afraid to tow another big truck home.
