Hi All,
The correct scoop on the backup lights and the Virginia safety inspection
regulation is as follows;
If the vehicle was not originally equipped with them, then they are not
required.
If they are installed at a later date, then they must not operate at any
time other than when the transmission is in reverse.

I was a little lax in my previously posted statement, sorry about that.
