Hmmmmmm...
LARC-LX 26 ft 7 in wide. Top speed land (empty) 15.2 mph , 600 gallons of
fuel yielding 75 mile range on water, 150 on land. 24 inches of ground
clearance.
Height over the range lights (forget the new style cabin) empty, on hard
ground, 19 feet 5 in, curb weight 197,000 lbs. But it can carry 100 short
tons or 200 combat equipped troops.

And check out this warning....

WARNING
Do not load explosive or flammable materials aboard the LARC-LX, energize
electrical circuits, fill fuel tanks, or
start engines before firefighting equipment is available and operative.

a. General. The LARC-LX may have come new from the builder, or new or used
from storage where it could have
been tampered with or sabotaged. A preoperative check must be made to assure
that the equipment and its components are ready for operation without damage
to equipment or personnel;

Oh yeah, what a deal one of these puppies would be at $10 k. Won't go on any
interstate, or rural road, can't go over or under most bridges. 60 were made
in groups of 15 and each series is different in major ways from the others.
Actually, this would be a must have for the guy who buys the Silo Home up in
New York, because it is like the hole in the ground you poor money into,
only it floats(?).

Wanna get more info on the beast? Probably one of the few -10 series
manuals available on the site. Go here and have yourself a chuckle:
