Proper mounting of radios in Deuce cab?

Here's an obscure one..

Where did the military, if they ever did, mount a radio such as an RT246/RT-524 or PRC-77 (same eventual mount when used with the AM-2060 accessory) in the cab of a deuce? I would like to do so, but
don't want to give up the luxurious passenger seating.

I would hate to have to mount it underdash and give up the 8-track.
