go to a auto parts store and get black weather strip adhesive. cut a
piece of canvas that will cover the tear. using the adhesive, put the
patch on the inside. if done carefully, you can hardly tell it was done.
this material looks and smells just like the tent repair glue that comes
in the very small can...........
