M35 hard start - solved by RAM

Hi folks,
To make a long story short, RAM hit the nail on the head. Even though my
batteries were turning over the engine at what seemed was a good speed,
it wasn't fast enough to fire up. Filled the water level in the
batteries (that's another story) put them on a 24 volt trickle charge
overnight, and the truck fired right up without the use of the manifold
heater. Snowing, and 24 degrees here at the Jersey Shore. I am once
again a happy camper!
