Having relatively little wrench time on my M1010, I am wondering if the
little beast runs to both SAE and metric fasteners, something I have not had
to worry about on the previous M-series I have owned and reduced the value
on. I would then have to start collecting all those peculiar wrenches and
sockets from the odd corners of the garage where I have been tossing them
over the years as I opened new tool sets.
I ran into several on my '88 Burb and thought the cross contamination on
the GM production line might have occurred earlier in the 'feel good'
eighties of failed metrification.
And for the current active or reserve military wrench heads, does the
current equipment have mixed fasteners or are they one standard or the other
?
