There's a company in Russia that salvages tanks from WWI on up, pulling them out of lakes, rivers, swaps, digging them up, or getting them out of the forest. Every year or so I get an e-mail newsletter of the current inventory, and an offer of the ones that they want to sell me. Last year, it was a mostly complete T-54. They have plenty of T-54 & T-34 chassis and parts. For US dollars, it's a bit pricey for a partial vehicle, but then I guess all tanks would be.

I don't have the contact info anymore, but I'm sure with enough internet searching you could find the website of the Russian tank salvage company I type of.

I would like to buy a T-54/55 or a T-34.
Can you still import them into the US, I have the BATF paperwork, but I need
to know if I will get the permit?
How much is the transport across the ocean from Europe?
How much do these tanks go far in running condition in Europe?
And last of all where can I get spare parts for them?
