My name is Tom Carrell and after several years of dreaming and looking for a
decent gamagoat nearby, I finally purchased one that was already titled and
licensed in Va. ( 1971 AMC Truck) . I have followed the list for several
years and have learned much from reading the various posts. I expect I will
need much advice in the future to keep my Goat going and going and going. As
soon as I get it all PMed and maintenanced I will become a legitimate HMVer
and join the MVPA. I read through the controversys over the years but
believe the organization is very worthwhile. I agree that with the current
situation, people are kind of ultrasensitive to what they consider weaponry
and implements of war and we need to stand together to preserve the living
history of the HMV. I am a Marine Corps. veteran of Desert Storm and have an
emotional attachment to the goat from my days in Artillery ( D 2/11) and
with 4th and then 2nd Light armored Recon. Thanks for your time and
