Well, list, excuse the engineering geek-ness, but I dug up the patents that teach the Renew-it Technology, and the chemistry/physics is credible. The reference USP numbers are below. I was going to build my own from radioshack parts, but elected to fork out the money and buy one that was hermetically sealed. Pulsetech sold me the 120V plug-into-the wall version that they say is good for 24V, 36V, or 48V. The 12V battery circuit they use is cheaper, but may not have the sand for driving 2 12V loads in parallel, so the High Voltage version used on the 2 6TLs in series may be the better bet. The challenge in the design is achieving desired waveform and frequency. Since it pumps charge, the voltage is not a big deal.

I won't gunk up the list with the circuit design or the chemistry, but the patents have very good descriptions:
U.S. Pat. No. 4,871,959,
U.S. Pat. No. 5,063,341,
U.S. Pat. No. 5,491,399
They can be viewed at www.uspto.gov
So I guess I believe it is not snake oil.
