I own a house. I rent a room. I have a narrow driveway. Actually it is
not so narrow, but there is a big 1.5 ton window air conditioner
sticking out of the window on the passenger side of the driveway,
where the house wall is. I usually have my roommate guide me past it,
but close, so that the rear tires on the -other- side of the deuce do
not end up against the curb of the driveway.

"Come on, you got it!", he said. I did. In low-low. The air
conditioner raised up 4" with a screeching crunching sound. The deuce
did not shudder, and it was as smooth as can be.

It was a draw, I think. The A/C suffered a broken drain tube and a
bent case, and the M35 suffered a bent lamp guard over the passenger
side turn signal and some scratched paint on the fender.

I have not yet decided what the roommate will suffer, especially after
snidely commenting that this was not the correct way to remove the air
conditioner.

I don't think I can straighen the lamp guard, unless I maybe get a
chain and a tree..
