A friend of mine has a 1956 m220 (Gas, auto
trans). It has no box on the back but is otherwise
pretty complete. Runs and moves well. I know
that this truck is undesirable because of the
engine and especially the trans. The price is
right for the truck, under $1000.
Question Is this truck worth trying to fit a bed
or a box on, or am I better off just forgetting
about it and getting a later truck to play with?
I am interested in just driving it around, no
heavy hauling where the trans would be overloaded,
but in lurking on this list, no body has one and I
bet there is a real good reason why.
