Methinks you flatter yourself too much, sir.
I keep ALL the messages to the list because someday Arthur will tire of
paying the rent on our play pen and, like your recollections of what you
THOUGHT you said, it will all go POOF. The archives won't always be there,
nor a way to ask the combined intelligence of the list.
So, both Pearls and garbage, wheat and chaff, get saved to the hard
drive. Easier to search your own hard drive than the archives for a
particular tidbit of tech advice.
Cause ya never know when you may have to go through the garbage to find
what THEY thought they said and what they DID say.
Re: Telling the Missus what I spent is not a problem. I find the MV's
and she pays for them. She LIKES me...don't know why. I'm just born lucky I
guess.
