I have been going thru alot of part that people have given me down thru the
years.

My problem is that I can't immediately identify what these things
are...without tearing into them.

Is there a good way to look at the serial numbers and know what vehicle it
pertains to ? examples:

2520-00-737-1035 looks like a drive flange..vehicle ??

2920-00-152-2264 ignition coil parts kit..vehicle??

3030-00-528-6953 match set of belts...vehicle ??

2920-796-2655 ignition switch mod kit..vehicle ??

I am getting ready to spend a whole weekend going thru
old buses, trailers, etc. of what i believe to be M38, M38A1, M37...and
probably old WWII parts.

How can I have a way to identify things ?? Seems like I saw an article in
an early Amry Motors or Supply Line, but I can't find it.

thanks,

Mike
