While I can understand your sensitivity to using the Nazi regime as a
comparison to the present US administration, our president has used the
"Axis of Evil" as a comparison, conveniently as well. Granted Sadam is no
saint and the world would be better off without him. However the US
decision to premptively attack other nations that have not attacked us or
our allies is a major change of direction. If you use the logic that Sadam
hasn't abided by UN resolutions, and they should be attacked, then you must
also wonder why the US isn't going after Israel for not abiding by UN
resolutions regarding the Palestinians. You can't have it both ways and be
credible.

There has been no definitive connection between Bin Laden and Sadam. Are
there probably some, most likely. However there are probably more
connections between Bin Laden and other countries such as our "allies"
Pakistan. After all that is where Bin Laden is thought to be hanging out?
And no one in the government knows where he is? Yeah right.

Regarding the loss of most of your family. I'm sorry, Hitler was worse
than evil. My family lost several branches off it family tree on both
sides of the Atlantic in WWI and WWII. My family is mostly of German
ancestry so when war broke out in both wars, my family was shooting each
other from both sides on the lines. However that was almost 50+ years ago
and we are in a new era.

There are a lot of bad people in the world, but most of them are good. Is
it our job to police the world? Is it our job to right every injustice in
the world. Do you have enough money and children to pay for that?

After Sadam, who's next? What about China? (Whoops, they buy our stuff, we
buy theirs.) North Korea? Syria? Israel - Ignoring UN resolutions
(Whoops, allies again) This list will get very long, fast.

Gassing Kurds is not a good thing. However I don't think that Sadam was
the first to repress the Kurds. How about them Pakistani's? (Whoops,
aren't they are allies?)

Killing his brother-in-law? Plotting to kill the president? Big deal.
If I make a list of people who have done stuff like that, the list will be
very very long.

In fact a lot of these bad guys have driven in MVs at one time.

Where do we go from here? How about concentrating on America's problems?
How about directing tax dollars to America instead of Turkey, Israel, and
every other country with their hands out for more. I don't see Sadam
attacking America, I see him hiding from us. Where is the threat?
