The US 57mm AT gun of ww2 was based upon the british 6 pounder of that
era.
Does anyone know if the carriage was a British design too? I ask because as
I work
on the one I have, and compare it (the carriage) to the 37mm carriage, GOD
it seems awfully complicated and expensive and time consuming to build!
