Buck,
It is definitely one of, if not the best, rally on the East coast. No
question it is the biggest. Best rally in the East is the MVMVC Rally in
Weare, NH.
I took my family down along to Aberdeen a couple of years ago. They
weren't overly impressed with the Decoy Museum in Havre de Grace. The
Aberdeen PG Museum held the kids interest for an hour or so.
But Washington is only about an hour south by car. No need to try and
enter the city and find parking, just go to a northern Metro station and
take the excellent subway....3 weeks worth of stuff to do. Just hit the US
Govt websites to check out what's needed to take tours of the Treasury and
such. Smithsonian is another weeks worth of viewing, plus all the monuments.
Plus there are Krispy Kremes REAL lose to the rally site, which ALMOST
edges Weare out of the top spot.
