Back from my morning contstitutional.......
Just been over the Perrier Ridge and Burcy, scene of very heavy fighting in
6-9 Aug 44 and found a Jeep trailer lunette ring in ground and
saw original Whermacht bunk beds in one of the houss where German were
billited. Owner also showed me his well, complete wih unexploded shell still
embedded in it - been like it for 60 years so he thinks its safe.......
