More M35A2 Deuces in Iraq...

Hey Listers...

I'm looking at Fox News right now at the HUGE supply and MV convoy
crossing from Kuwait into Iraq on their way to Baghdad.

Lots of HMMWVs, FMTVs, 5-tons, and quote a few deuces. Even spotted a
kitchen trailer with that distinctive zig zag rigging on the back
panels being towed behind an FMTV 2-1/2 ton.

QUETION #1:
But I notice that the deuces seem to have the tail lights moved up
from under the bed (like on a standard A2) into a panel just under the
tailgate....the lights shine out through holes in the steel panel.

What's that version?

It isn't the A3 mod, because these deuces have 9.00x20 tires, not
super singles.

What gives?

QUESTION #2:
Also, why do a lot of the HMMWVs in the convoy have orange drapings
over the top of the cabs?

Thanks!
