Replacing M37 fuel lines

Hello all,

I am getting ready to replace the fuel lines in my M37. I have the rock guard already and am planning on picking up some tubing to form my own lines.

One of the things I am thinking of is adding an inline fuel filter.

Should I plumb it in up front near the engine for ease of access or at the back of the truck near the fuel tank?

Does anyone have a particular style or make and model that they recommend?
