    Dear Mr. Patrick Jankowiak.
Thank for your interest. Unfortunately, I doubt that the tank KV-1 will
restore up to a running condition. According to our experts - it is
possible. But tank in Russia and was transferred to a small museum under
St.-Petersburg. This museum does not have opportunities and money to such
work. There is a probability, that this work can undertake enthusiasts. If
KV-1 there was in Belarus, ours guys from club "Poisk", under a management
Igor Mazuk, has restored this tank up to a running condition. As the Soviet
tank BT-7 was restored up to a running condition.
About all event I shall hold you informed.
    Best regards,
Nickolay Panov.
