Sometimes the gear in the trans can go, cable can bind and or snap. Also the
needle on the gauge could have lost it's grip on the stem.

Subject: [MV] more help

Hi Guys,

Ok took my M-220 or M-35 or G749 body style out for a drive today on the
highway and noticed that the speedometer doesn't work.

Does anyone have an idea on what I should be looking for to fix this. The
cable runs from the dash to the trany. this is a 1956 deuce. I don't want to
rip everything apart so I thought I would come to the list to see what ideas
on were to look first to fix this issue.

Please reply off list and thanks anyone who can point me in the right
direction.

Cheers,

Mark Anderson
