You are going to have to access the locking mechanism though the
panel at the bottom inside of the door.

Personally I prefer to lock down the M-35 and M-809 doors with
locking solenoid that is part of the truck alarm system.

When armed the system extends a steel pin(s) from the door and in to
the door frame; when disarmed, it retracts.

Ditto on the hood and side panel locks.
