   There are some people that think that you have to be kinda low
classed to talk on 11 meters (cb)....smile...you can use 50 mhz and up
plus a segment of the talk band on 10 meters...(28.3 to 28.5 mhz single
side band)with a technician class license...the last time I checked. If
you ever did the convoy thing when the 11 meter band is open...you would
not like it. On the other hand...6 meters would be just fine...and you
might pick up a few new grids and get a few qsl cards in the
mail...smile...those guys you seen at the hamfest/flea market are just
like the doctors and lawyers who ride Harleys. They dress that way so
you'll think they're lids instead of elmers. Fred ke8ss
