A new one was reported yesterday, W32/Bugbear.b@MM (a variant of an old
one), and it has various "subjects" it will send out. Threat assessment
last night was high due to the number of hits being reported. Beware.

Subject: [MV] A strange email.....

Just got a file from "AOL Instant Messenger" thanking me for my
subscription.
It asked for a return with an "OK" in the body of the reply.
Had attached file bod399.doc.scr
Showed my logon name as "armytruck63".
Norton did not see it as a virus, I did not subscribe, I did not reply.

This just about had to come in from something connected to the Yahoo or
the
Military Vehicle Mailing list.

1. has anyone seen this?

2. Watch for it, it sure looks suspicious.
