Re: [MV] Insurance Hell

I asked this question specifically as I don't have a garage large enough to
hold the truck. Most of the companies who provide 'classic' coverage (
really low rates ) stated it HAD to be stored in a locked building. Those
who were flexible on this said it had to be in show quality. I picked up
one of those tent like things to cover it/keep the sun and leaves off it
but that and my new 8' tall fence was not good enough for any of
them. Except for those folks in Florida. I ended up paying $360 a year
for half a million in liability covg, full collision and comp with a $100
deductible for each. Compared to the state farm quote of $1200 locally I
did pretty well.
Hopefully once it's restored State Farm will still be willing to cover it
as a classic for $70 a year as they said they would last year... incentive
to get back to work on the truck!
