Yeah, you're right...I thought about that. I would need to drive it
up and out to do any type of maintenance. It is more a storage option
than an accessible parking area solution.

Oh, MAN! I would LOVE to build a flat parking area there with a pit
room below! But the slope is 20 degrees, not 20 percent. It would
need a pretty high retaining wall even at 25 feet, and a LOT of dirt
to fill it (about 1200 cubic yards for the whole 60' long area)! The
top of the hill is 21 feet high above the back yard level, and the
horizontal distance from the top of the hill to the bottom is about
60'.

But expenses and yes, permits, require a simpler plan for now...hence
