While I have no experience with military AC/Heating units, I can tell you about the juice needed for it!
For 60Hz here's the standards:
Voltage Phase Wires
120/240 1 3 Used commonly in homes, small business
120/208 1 3
120/208Y 3 4
240 3 3 " " pumps
120/240 3 4 " " small business
277/480Y 3 4 " " industrial
208 volts is one of those funky voltages that (pardon the pun) should be phased out!
Usually 208V equipment is cheap because few manufacturers support it, and most power companies will have to install new facilities at the applicant's expense to support the service.
Luckily it's a 3-phase 208V so you'll be able to get a generator for it at a fair price (maybe a used one), but most likely you won't be able to 'plug it in' anywhere else.
Oh, by the way could you tell I was in the electricity business? =)

I know that these are used in some shelters and vehicles but has anyone
actually seen one on a vehicle working? What kind of power source does it
use, power converter, generator? Would like to use this on a M35A2 or
M109A3 but not sure how to hook it up. We found the TM on Mildocs (great
site) but it only showed how it works and basic maintenance but not how to
install on a vehicle.
Any help is appreciated.
