tractor (freightliner) minus the engine, trans and rears. Called a line haul
truck, they appear as if they were meant more for highway use and have a
respectable 50k GVWR. The gliders were part of an M815 series upgrade,
although I can't imagine why a new truck (minus the mentioned parts) has
little value beyond a collector or scrap. Maybe a title problem? Sounds like
a great project if you had the room.
