1/4" cold rolled steel is still thicker than a set of utilities out in the
open. I'm sure the guys will appreciate it. And besides it could be kind of
hard aiming at the truck when .50 cal rounds are chewing up the sand around
you.

Hot or cold roll is to soft to much with bullets and a will not slow a RPG
down. Armor plate has to be heat treated to be much good
