Note on your trip and water consumption. You actually drank less than is
recommended. Under high heat stress- which is considered to be any activity
outside in temperatures over 95 F, you should be drinking 1/2 quart per
hour. You guys drank 10 quarts for 33 hours, when you should have drank
more like 16.5. This is in conjunction with eating three squares a day (not
junk, high carbs, or high sugar).

Looks like this heat wave is heading into the end of September, so consider
this when you are planning your outside activities.
