Yellow-nosed trucks in Vietnam.

Hi List,

In case this helps, I read somewhere earlier this year that these trucks
were all from the same command and it was something to do with General
Scrambled Eggs, or whomever, being able to spot "his own" trucks from
the air, thus, he ordered this paintwork done.

I don't claim to know whys and wherefors, as it is just what I read.

In the unlikely event that I remember where I saw this, I'll post it.
It was somewhere in my not-inconsiderable collection, written in an
autobiographical context and, as such, was not merely Joe Blow's
opinion.

Can't remember anything else, so I hope that this may jog someone else's
memory and maybe they can give you more info.

Good luck and do post and let us know if you get the definitive as there
were about 5 yellow-nosed REOs at Belters the other week.

Cheers
Gavin
