There is a gentleman by the name of Salameh al-Jundi, who was a JRAF
(Jordanian Royal Armed Forces) procurement officer during that period. He is
now retired, (from government service) but a call to the Jordanian embassy
in Washington, DC, will probably result in your finding out his whereabouts.
The last I knew, he headed a very successful auto parts importation firm,
specializing in belts, hoses, and other automotive spares. BTW, the Kingdom
of Jordan is one of our allies. a p bloom
