The filter base ( the square filter fits on it) has 3 replaceable parts;
Fuel Pre Heater- on top of unit with 2 wires
Fuel Pressure switch- round and held in place with spring clip and it
has 2 wires
Water In Fuel Sensor- last on down with wires.
All parts are available from Stanadyne dealers. Check with your local
diesel injection service shop. You can also buy a whole filter base
complete for around $185.
