"Inexpensive" Humvees

My son came back from a school field trip and I thought I'd pick him up
in one of my Humvees'. There were a couple of other fathers there for the
same reason and they were eyeing my Humvee. Finally one of them came over
to meet me and said he'd heard if you buy at least 6 of them at a time, you
could get them for $500 each and he wanted to know where they could be
purchased as he had some friends that wanted one too!! Besides the $50 jeep
stories, where in the world do these ideas come from???

Another pet peeve of mine is only the people SELLING a Humvee that say,
" I have been told that there will be no more humvees released through gov't
auctions" as is one currently running on Ebay. Another is "NO MORE will
ever be released again forever". Like they would really know in the first
place!! They are coming out all the time through different circumstances.
By the way, what does this guy consider "inexpensive"?? I have noticed the
units released from Atlanta have gone up in value.

I will very soon be selling an armament carrier M-1026 Humvee that will
need an engine (in it but damaged) and general finishing up with a nice body
ready for paint and a complete armor top with nice doors. Julian Burke
