I just participated in the Concours D'elegance in
Chico, CA with my rude, crude deuce. Unlike the other
vehicles displayed I allowed anyone who wanted too, to
sit in it or look around in the back at all the gear I
had. Judging by the number of people who wanted to
climb on, I was one of the more popular displays too,
especially when it came to kids.
I was in a sponsored catagory, so if any other MV's
had shown up, they would have trophied. I didn't come
for that, this was a "just for fun" exhibit, but I did
get a lot compliments and maybe even recruited a few
future members for the MVPA.
I can't understand why our local MVCC people never
shows up at this huge event? The car show folks and
visiters couldn't have been nicer.
