M35 Duece does not have a boarding ladder. It's for the M109 shop van, and
the various other vans. They were also used for the Shelters on the back of
the trucks.

The new Duece, the LMTV has a ladder that fits in it's own special
compartment!

Subject: [MV] Boarding Ladder Storage

I should probably just ask Dave Doyle, but I'll throw the question out
to the list

I don't ever remember using a boarding ladder during my active duty - we
just used the step on the tailgate of the deuce. Where does the deuce
boarding ladder go during travel? Do you just drop it where you are and
hope they have another one at your destination?

Thanks,
Bruce
